OnePlus Launches 67W Power Bank with Display in China

OnePlus has launched its SUPERVOOC 67W power bank in China, priced at 229 yuan ($32). The device, unveiled alongside the OnePlus 16 on October 12, features a color TFT display that shows battery life, charging power, and estimated time remaining. This display is a first for OnePlus power banks, offering users detailed insights into charging status. Sales begin on October 21.

With a 10,000mAh capacity, the power bank supports 67W SUPERVOOC, 45W USB Power Delivery, and 55W PPS charging. It also meets China’s new national safety standard and has passed five safety tests, though specifics of these tests remain undisclosed. The slim, pocket-sized design prioritizes portability without compromising functionality.

While the Ugreen P7 offers a 20,000mAh capacity and 45W charging for 269 yuan ($38), the OnePlus model focuses on charging speed over capacity. It can recharge itself at up to 40W and is compatible with USB-C laptops, though performance varies by device. For instance, less power-intensive laptops will charge more efficiently, while high-demand models may experience slower charging under heavy use.

For OnePlus phone users, SUPERVOOC support is a key advantage, enabling faster charging compared to standard protocols. Other devices can use USB PD or PPS protocols, ensuring broad compatibility. However, the power bank’s price-to-capacity ratio is less competitive than its predecessor, the 120W model, which offered 15,000mAh for 299 yuan ($42). The new model has one-third less capacity but costs only 70 yuan less, making it more expensive per unit of capacity. This higher cost reflects the addition of the display and faster charging output.

OnePlus has confirmed it will not release new products in the U.S. or Europe, making an official launch outside China unlikely. However, independent importers may still offer it to international buyers. The absence of an official global release aligns with OnePlus’s recent strategic focus on the Chinese market.
