VisionQuest completes the WandaVision trilogy
Marvel Studios revealed the first trailer for VisionQuest, the final chapter in its Vision saga. The series follows Paul Bettany’s character after his resurrection in WandaVision, now protecting a mysterious boy, Thomas Shepard, who may be his reincarnated son.
The October 14, 2026 release explores intergenerational trauma, with Vision confronting his own existence while evading bounty hunters and resisting Ultron’s influence. James Spader returns as Ultron, joined by Todd Stashwick as the hunter Paradin, T’Nia Miller as the vengeful robot Jocasta, and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Tony Stark’s augmented reality defense system.
Ruaridh Mollica plays Thomas Shepard, the boy whose soul was transferred into a new body in Agatha All Along. The cast also includes James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S. and Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., along with Faran Tahir reprising his role as Raza from Iron Man—either in flashbacks or Vision’s imagination.

Bettany described the series as a father-son story, moving away from the domestic horror of WandaVision. The trailer shows Vision’s internal conflict, with his AI personas haunting him as he tries to protect Shepard from threats.
Ahsoka’s second season continues the journey
Disney+ released the first teaser for Ahsoka Season 2. The footage confirms Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano as she teams up with her former apprentice, continuing their mission.
The teaser emphasizes the show’s dual narratives, with Hayden Christensen returning as Anakin Skywalker. Fans will see more of Shin Hati and the return of Huyang, the ancient droid who built lightsabers for the Jedi.
The first season blurred the line between live-action and animation, with Ezra’s return tying into Rebels. Season 2 continues that approach, drawing from decades of lore while introducing new challenges.
Avengers: Doomsday special footage debuts
Marvel released new Avengers: Doomsday footage, offering deeper insight into Victor von Doom’s motives. The December 18, 2026 theatrical release positions the film as the next major crossover event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel confirmed details of its X-Men reboot, including Sadie Sink as a young Jean Grey. The role was teased in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where her cloaked figure revealed Grey’s dual nature in the film’s climax.

The reboot, directed by Jake Schreier, also stars Christopher Abbott as Charles Xavier, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Maya Boyd as Storm, and Inde Navarrette as Rogue. Adam Driver joins as Nathan Milbury, the geneticist known as Mister Sinister in the comics.
The May 5, 2028 release follows years of speculation about mutant integration into the MCU. Sink’s casting suggests a younger, less experienced Jean Grey, allowing room for character growth across multiple films.
